 A railway station named after a British tunnel engineer, Colonel Barog who built the longest tunnel at Barog, and is associated with local tales and legends. Col. Barog started digging the nearby tunnel from both ends and could not align them. So he was fined 1 rupee.Unable to accept his mistake,he shot himself in the incomplete tunnel, which still exists today.
