 A bell that may have been used to ring the alarm on the old castle walls at The Garrison, Hugh Town, St.Mary's. The castle is now the Star Castle hotel. It was built during Queen Elisabeth 1st reign in the 16th century.

The Isles of Scilly in the Atlantic Ocean lie 28 miles off Lands End in the southwest of Britain. Five of the islands are inhabited and consist of St. Mary’s (with its capital, Hugh Town), St. Agnes, Bryther, Tresco, and St. Martins. There are several further uninhabited islands and rocks.
