 The traditional dish found in restaurants in Nuremberg is the Nuremberg fried sausage ( from four to twelve sausages) served with either sauerkraut or potato salad. There are many legends surroundings the origins of the Nuremberg sausage. It was said to have been made small enough the size of a finger pushed through medieval Franconian keyholes.
