DSC 0857 The annual event celebrating William Shakespeare's birthday takes place on the Saturday nearest to April 23rd at Stratford-upon-Avon,Warwickshire,Britain. The long procession of dignitaries winds its way through the streets towards Holy Trinity Church to the laying of floral tributes where the great playwright is buried. The celebrations remain one of the few engagements for the Diplomatic corps outside London.
